Awesome tutorial. I hope you don't mind, but I used it in my latest clay sculpture. You can see it here: mystiecub.deviantart.com/art/S…

Can you apply a gloss on it after it's done baking without the chalk coming off?

Is it just using regular pastels? Or is it something else?

You do have to bake it, though I didn't include it in the tutorial. Follow the instructions on your polymer clay packaging. :)

Do you bake it with the chalk on? Or do you apply chalk after baking? If you do, wont the chalk rub off when you touch it?
Reply
:iconicandiie:
iCandiie Featured By Owner May 11, 2010
You bake with the chalk on, so it shouldn't rub off afterwards. :)

Is there anything else you can use in place of the pastel chalk? I dont have any, and I dont feel like buying it.

:iconicandiie:
iCandiie Featured By Owner Apr 26, 2010
You could always paint the bread AFTER it's been baked. Acrylic would work fine.
